"Two ordinary men are ripped out of their lives and thrown into an anonymous prison where torture is part of life. As darkly comedic as it is heartfelt you will find yourself empathizing, demonizing and strategizing along with them in this frighteningly modern story of survival at any cost through humor, companionship, and imagination."
Mat Betteridge trained at Rose Bruford. Past Theatre credits include King Lear (National Theatre/NT Live), Printed Linen (Glass to Wall Productions), Ache (First Draft Theatre), Wisdom of the Den (Making Theatre Work), and Bird in the Bush (Excalibur Productions). Film and TV includes Arrows of Desire (Channel 4), Hot Date (Edkasi51 Productions), and Three (Coffee Films).
Edwin Flay studied film and drama, graduating in 1998 from the University of Reading. After a 12-year hiatus, Edwin began acting professionally in 2010, playing the lead in The Shadow Formula at the Greenwood Theatre and performing the one-man show Shoe Horn at the Theatre Breaks festival in Camden. His film work includes Grace of Monaco and Hugo, and he recently appeared in the BBC sitcom Boomers.
