Kurt is an ordinary guy with a very unfortunate living situation: his three roommates are all notorious local serial killers. Even worse, they're under the (false) impression that Kurt is the equally infamous Subway Slayer! But times are tough and he's making it work. At least, he WAS, until his new girlfriend Caroline pops by for an impromptu visit. Flatting can be hell, but this place is absolute murder...
Slaughterhouse is a tense, blood-splattered horror-comedy that mixes acerbic social satire with gory violence, touching romance and blacker than black humour. It's the Odd Couple meets The Silence of the Lambs!

Written by emerging LA playwright Leland Frankel and presented by the international theatre nomads of Restless Ecstasy, Slaughterhouse is a tense, blood-splattered horror-comedy that mixes acerbic social satire with gory violence, touching romance and blacker than black humour. Featuring a cast of some of London's finest young talent and played in the company's trademark bold, breakneck style, Slaughterhouse is an evening of bloody fun that posits the most surreal, violent and twisted flat-share scenario since TV's The Young Ones.
Playwright Leland Frankel is an LA-based playwright currently living in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a graduate of both UCLA's School of Theatre, Film, and Television and The American Repertory Theatre (A.R.T.) Institute at Harvard University. His work has most recently been produced with The Fountain Theatre, Savage Players Theatre Company, the Festival for New American Musicals, and more. When he's not hunched over a keyboard, Leland enjoys ocean swimming, photography, and the music of Bruce Springsteen. As a screenwriter, he is represented by Jordan Bayer of Original Artists Agency.
Jack Cosgrove - Kurt
Originally from Jersey, Jack trained as an actor at LIPA. Previous credits include The Importance of Being Earnest, Alice in Wonderland, Hamlet (all London Contemporary Theatre), 1984 (Selladoor Theatre), Oedipus (Lazarus Theatre) and The Hour of Feeling (High Tide).
Grace Blackman - Caroline
Grace trained at Arts Educational, National Youth Theatre and National Youth Film Academy. Feature film credits include Eleven and Angel of Auschwitz. Other credits include Nannies at the Tristan Bates Theatre as well as multiple short films.
John Faulds - Greg
After growing up in the Isle of Man and a brief flirtation with a military career, John trained at East 15 Acting School. Credits include Macbeth with Ceridwen Theatre, Absent with dreamthinkspeak and two seasons with Produced Moon.
Ben Bruckshaw - Wendell
Ben trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. His recent credits include Moment of Grace at the Bloomsbury Festival, Murder on the Terrace and Northanger Abbey with Heartbreak Productions, and Der Rosenkavalier at the Royal Opera House.
Adrian Gawell - Fyodor
Adrian is a Swedish actor and director who moved to London in 2012 to attend Kogan Academy of Dramatic Arts. Since graduating he has performed at both Brighton and Camden Fringe festivals, toured nationally with Splats Entertainment's Macbeth and A Midsummer Night's Dream and starred in numerous short films. In 2018 his adaptation of Sherlock Holmes, which he wrote, directed and acted in debuted in Southport. Recent projects include Swedish short film Brottarn. His first horror short Teddy is currently in pre-production.
Chantelle Stewart - The Victim
Originally from Gateshead, Chantelle graduated from The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2017. Since then she has toured with a devised adaptation of The Cabinet of Dr Caligari to Belgrade, Serbia and Budapest, Hungary, and appeared in the short film Alison. Credits whilst training include The Orestia, Judgement Day, The Cripple of Inishmaan and Cymbeline (all BSA). She holds a distinction in Stage Combat in both Unarmed and Rapier + Dagger.
